The DP World ILT20 wrapped up a few weeks ago, and while our Gulf Giants didn't clinch the title, we had a commendable season, making it to the Playoffs. Many of our players have been staying busy, transitioning from the ILT20 to international matches and now into the Indian T20 League.
An exciting season of DP World ILT20 comes to an end for the Gulf Giants as they lost to Dubai Capitals in Qualifier 2. James Vince and Chris Jordan were the stars with the bat for the Giants while Liam Dawson bowled a fine spell. Dubai Capitals chased down the score with 9 wickets in hand.
As Season 2 of the DP World ILT20 comes to a close, we reflect on an exhilarating journey. While our aim was to defend the title, the path was challenging. Dubai Capitals emerged victorious in Qualifier 2, securing a well-deserved spot in the finals. Despite the setback, we hold immense pride in our team's relentless efforts throughout the tournament.
Gulf Giants go down to the MI Emirates by 45 runs in Qualifier 1 and they will face the Dubai Capitals in Qualifier 2. In this game, Daniel Worrall was the star with the ball, picking up 3 wickets while Chris Jordan played a few big shots towards the end of the game. We are still confident that we will bounce back and meet MI Emirates again in the Final.

It was a magnificent comeback from our Gulf Giants as we defeated Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by just 3 runs and moved into the Playoffs where we will face the MI Emirates in Qualifier 1. The stars for us in this game were James Vince, Jordan Cox, Jamie Overton and Chris Jordan. We are confident that we will be able to defend the title.
